Create SMSC Group

An SMSC group contains SMSCs that provide the same service (coverage and capability) at the same cost.

Use an SMSC group to represent the SMSC connections that you get from a supplier for a specific service they provide.

Create group

Click on Suppliers and then SMSC groups.

Click Add group.

Enter a name for the group under Group name. It is helpful to include the name of the supplier and a label for their service (e.g. “Orange Intl 1“).

Ignore the other settings for now.

Click Save.

Add SMSCs to group

Click on Group members (under SMSC groups) in the main menu.

Click Add member.

Select the SMSC to add to the group.

Select the new group created above.

Click Save.

The Group members table should now show the new group with a single SMSC.
